Hello again, really getting back into this bloggin malarkey again at the mo (planning to post daily this coming week!) – think it’s procrastination from revision, but still – productive procrastination, better than spending 4 hours watching hilarious cats and emotional military reunions (my personal faves <3) on YouTube…
Anyways, enough ramblin’! Today’s post is yet another Empties – I looooove doing these and reading them, partly because I think it’s a great testament to a product if someone has used it up completely, but mostly because I’m downright nosey and want to satisfy other nosey people’s needs 🙂
Now this is a bad start, but I have finished up a can of Batiste Cool and Crisp Dry Shampoo. I have yet to find a dry shampoo that I actually get along with, all of them seem to leave an unpleasant (possibly even more greasy) feeling on my head! Unfortunately this dry shampoo is no different… I love the scent, but I just don’t get on with the product itself
This next one is a little odd and probably very dull, but I like to keep these honest, so I’ve popped in this FluoriGard Daily Rinse mouthwash which is the only one I ever use as I love the taste and it doesn’t burn my mouth with an overly intense mint flavour. I’d love to find a whitening mouthwash though, so do leave any suggestions below…
I have also finished up two make-up removers. The first is the L’Oreal Gentle Make-Up Remover which I do like – it does the job and isn’t irritating on my eyes, but my Garnier Micellar Water will always outdo it. This stuff is just amazing, calming, cooling and super effective with next to no rubbing needed! A holy grail product for me 🙂
Finished another can of Vaseline Derma Beauty 48h Protection which is not my favourite, but it’s great for travel because it does the job and is nice and compact! Check out my review of the Mitchum Deodorant to read about my favourite deodorant
This is the Boots SkinClear Daily Face Scrub which I have to say is a really nice gentle and affordable face scrub. It doesn’t work wonders, but it is a good daily, or every other day, face scrub that isn’t too abrasive.
I haven’t fully formed my opinion on this wee shampoo, but I think I love it. Firstly the scent is gorgeous – very herbal and natural, and the shine and definition it gives my curls is lush! I really lifts my hair which I love, but I do think it slightly increases frizz tendencies because it takes away the weight so my hair decides to move outwards even more than usual…
This Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturiser is a staple for me as it does the job but doesn’t anger my acne. I love the light formula which doesn’t make my face feel sticky or greasy, but gives just the right level of moisture and hydration.
The Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Cool Medium 3 has yet to be beaten as my favourite basic concealer. It’s high coverage, very blendable and doesn’t budge. This is just a holy grail product, and I don’t think I will find a worthy competitor for quite a while!
The Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo is yet another favourite which I really think does work and smells like heaven. I feel like a new woman when I wash my hair and the smell is so invigorating.
My last empty is the Yes To Grapefruit Rejuvenating Body Wash which I love partly because I bloomin’ love the smell of pink grapefruits, but also because it lathers really nicely, and I feel squeaky clean after I use it.
Thanks for reading, I hope you’ve enjoyed snooping around my beauty and skincare rubbish 🙂 My plan is to post every day this coming week, as I’m on Easter holidays and I need a break from revision! So don’t forget to follow to see all of those posts… Until next time xxx
