Hello. I haven’t done a favourites post in a while now (my last one was this) so I thought I’d pop a late one up today. I have been trying quite a few new products this past month so I’m going to try and narrow it down to the absolute best!
MAC Amorous A few weeks ago I finally bit the bullet and bought my first MAC product. I have to say the experience made me worryingly excited! I chose the lipstick in Amorous – a kind of dark plum shade that when worn lightly over clear lip balm is like a darker your lips but better colour for me (but my lips are quite pigmented!) I love the formula, the scent the colour – basically everything!! Despite the hefty price tag I am very glad I went for this and I intend to widen my MAC collection whenever my bank balance allows me 😉
Kiko Ultra Tech Mascara I just did a review of this here, so I shan’t repeat myself other than saying that Kiko is a brand that I would love to try more from. The products are good quality yet so cheap!
Yes to Grapefruit Shower Gel I picked this up a month or so ago and have been meaning to rave about it for ages! It comes in a huge, easy to use bottle and I absolutely love the scent – can’t go wrong with grapefruit in my eyes 🙂 It makes my skin feel very smooth and clean and has also seemed to begin to clear up the annoying acne I have on my chest and back!!
Naked 2 Palette I will always love this palette so much, but I have really been experimenting with my eye makeup in the transition into warmer months. I feel that this palette offers me all the shades I could want in a spring/summer look and the formula are all so lush. Check out my full review with swatches here
Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Pink Gold The lovely Catherine sent me this a few months ago, and I have recently been loving using it as a funky pop of colour underneath my lower lashline. With a shimmery brown shadow o the top, this looks really stylish and summery but not too bold and coloured!
Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed. I’d love to know what your April Favourite have been, link any favourites posts if you’ve done them 🙂

April has been a weird month for me- I tried so many new things but never really fell in love with anything in particular. I think the best thing I used in April was the Physician’s Formula Sexy Booster Va Va Volume Mascara. I did a whole post on it on my blog. And, I really liked my Beauty Protector Beauty Cream (I have post on that too :P).
That lipstick is so gorgeous. I might have to look into that 😀

The lipstick reminds me of Kate Moss 107 but more on the brown side. It’s really pretty! And I know it wasn’t the purpose of your post, but isn’t Giovanna’s book ‘Billy and Me’ so cute?! It’s so neat both she and Carrie have books now 🙂
