Hello all! I can’t believe that I haven’t done a favourites post since July! I am so glad to be doing one of these again, favourites are one of my favourite (pun intended) types of posts to write. Anyway, enough gabbling from me, let’s get crackalacking…
Seventeen – Doll’d Up Mascara
I have rediscovered my age old love of this little beauty. It makes my lashes look so frickin’ amazing and it is super cheap too! It stays on all day, is a great colour and isn’t too difficult to take off at the end of the day. All in all I bloomin’ love this mascara, and I can’t believe I ever stopped using it?!
Soap and Glory – Supercat Liner
I really love this eyeliner. I use it almost everyday to create a thin line on my top lashline and it works so well. It is pretty easy to apply, doesn’t smudge and it hasn’t dried out for me yet and I think I got it around 4-6 months ago which isn;t half bad.
Revlon – Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie
I picked this up quite recently, I have two other colours but one of them is a little too light for my skintone and I wanted to experiment with a slightly darker berry toned lip colour. I am so glad I picked this up, I wore it very strongly to a Halloween party I went to on Monday, but normally I just pat the colour onto my lips to give a kind of dark but not too obvious stain-like finish. These formulas are so moisturising and long-lasting and they also fade nicely and don’t leave me with an awful line around my lips which a lot of lip products seem to do!
BeautyUK – Posh Palette in No.1 Eden
I have had this old thing for nearly a year now and I still love it to bits. As you can see in the photo I have used the matte darker brown to death, and am beginning to use a different one for fear of this one running out! I use the two matte shades in two of my everyday looks and I also use the shimmery shades to add extra definition and a little something extra under my lowerlashline.
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
I don’t usually include a book in my favourites, but I recently Instagrammed about how I want to read a lot more than I do at the moment, and I am starting that with this lovely book. I haven’t finished it yet, but I am loving it so far. It is the story of a boy in 1970s Afghanistan and his struggles and story. It is really heart-warming but quite hard-hitting at a few points – but I’m a wimp and a half, and I love it so it can’t be that bad.
Spotify
I recently downloaded the app Spotify and I have been loving listening to lots of different songs whilst chilling in my room or tidying etc… If you want to follow me then I am cherryb15 on there, so go checkout that if you have Spotify too!
I have always loved Norah Jones, but I have been listening to this beautiful song on repeat throughout October so I thought I ought to put it in here.
I love the message and the melody of this song, and it just has a lovely feel to it. Whenever I listen to it I always end up singing it for the rest of the day!
Thanks for reading. I really want to do a monthly guest post feature on the second Sunday of every month. If you would like to do a guest post on my blog then comment below or drop me an email at cherryblossom15blog@gmail.com

Love the Kite Runner! If you get a chance, check out the author’s other two books. They’re sad but so so good.

That Lip Butter colour looks so pretty, I’m slightly scared of wearing obvious lip stick colours in case I look a bit like Miranda Sings or it just doesn’t suit me but I guess that just add a bit of colour instead of being really bold xx

I know what you mean, but it’s really wearable. You can always pat it on with your finger rather than swipe it all over – makes it more balmy and less in your face 😉 xx
