Hello. I felt like doing something a little different on my blog today. I do a lot of reviews on my blog, as a lot of you seem to like, but I thought I would do a comparison review today instead. This post, I am comparing the Beauty UK Eden Palette and the MUA Heaven and Earth Palette. These palettes are very similar, so I thought they would work well for this comparison. Enjoy…
Colours: MUA: 7/10 BeautyUK: 8/10
Both these palettes stick with a kind of nude-brown colour scheme (which I love) so they don’t have any really wild colours. The MUA one is generally more shimmery and doesn’t have any matte shadows, whereas the BeautyUK palette has two semi-matte shades. I do like my shimmers, so this doesn’t put me off either of them, but it is nice to have some versatility.
Quality: MUA: 6/10 BeautyUK: 7.5/10
I love the texture of the BeautyUK shadows, as they are really smooth. But The MUA shadows are super shimmery and blend really nicely, they just feel a little more rough in the palette.
Value: MUA: 9/10 (£4.00) BeautyUK: 8/10 (£5.99)
I think that both of these palettes are great value for money, but the MUA palette is two pounds cheaper, and is just a little better considering its price. I particularly love that you could go into Superdrug with a £10 note and leave with two eyeshadow palettes and some change (admittedly only 1 penny, but it still counts!)
And the winner is…
The… *drum roll* MUA palette. Even though the BeautyUK palette is more versatile, I just can’t help going back to my old favourite the MUA heaven and earth.
Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed. As usual, leave any questions or suggestions below, and I will see you next time! Bye x

Great review. I have the Heaven and Earth Palette and although I loved it I don’t really wear eye shadow much any more. I would recommend the Undress Me Too palette seeing as when I wore eye shadow I used them together, I also compared the Heaven and Earth Palette to the Undress Me Too palette like last October and I think I favoured the Undress Me Too one xx

Thanks! I’m an eyeshadow kinda girl, so I use them both a lot! I remember that post, sorry, didn’t realise they were such similar posts – didn’t mean to copy!!! I might pick the undress me too palette up, they are really cheap! Xx

It’s fine, I liked reading it as I really was thinking about buying it but I don’t think I will any more. Have you tried any other Beauty UK products xx

Hey, this is a great review. I am an eyeshadow palette hoarder but I don’t have both palettes because both brands are not available in the Philippines. 😦
